Learning is like rowing upstream – not to advance is to drop back…

I’m starting to understand why people study for the GRE/GMAT/LSAT while they are still in school, even if they don’t intend to return to grad school for a few years.  Cracking open this Kaplan book is forcing me to stretch certain brain muscles that have been dormant for wayyyyy too long.  Who remembers who to multiply complex fractions anymore?  My attention span is also not what it used to be.  This grad school idea is going to be a lesson not only in advanced vocabulary and middle school math rules, but in re-learning how to learn, remembering those marathon study sessions that we used to have in Helen C…

It’s all part of the plan…
