Hey AIESEC,

I can’t believe that it has already been almost a year since I arrived in Barranquilla and started my Colombian adventure. As most of you know, my traineeship ended on Friday with the last day of the semester, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Thank you so much to each and everyone of you for the memories of a lifetime, from our first weekend excursion to Tayrona last summer (what?! we get to go camping in HAMMOCKS?!) to the Carnaval Trainee Weekend, from Zonalito to my despedida, I’m so lucky to have been a trainee at the best LC in Colombia & SSGN.

My goodbye party was more than I could have asked for, and it meant to much to me that all of you came to celebrate with me. For the card that you wrote, let’s just say that I started to cry when I finally read it on the plane ride down to Bogota.

You all mean so much to me, have laughed with me, have been there for me when I was far away from my home and my friends. I sincerely hope that you will keep in touch and that our paths will cross again someday, whether in Colombia or some other exciting destination around the world.

Good luck to each and everyone of you, in everything that you do. You all have so much passion and potential…keep pushing your limits and never accept anything less than extraordinary out of life.

Love you all,

Sarita
